Rate card
Starting prices by service
Each figure is the starting price for a standard job. The dispatcher confirms your exact total on the call, before a truck is dispatched.
| Service | From | Arrival | What that covers |
|---|---|---|---|
| Towing | $95 | 25-45 min | hook-up, plus per-kilometre after the first 10 km |
| Battery boost | $75 | 20-35 min | boost and on-site test; replacement battery quoted separately |
| Flat tire | $75 | 20-40 min | spare fitted; towing quoted separately if there is no spare |
| Lockout | $75 | 20-35 min | standard door opening; some European models cost more |
| Fuel delivery | $65 | 25-45 min | call-out, plus the fuel itself at pump price |
| Winch-out | $125 | 30-60 min | standard winch-out; ditch and rollover recovery quoted on site |
Prices are in Canadian dollars and exclude HST. Your exact total is confirmed on the call, before a truck is dispatched.
Never charged extra
What is in the price already
- The quote itself, whether or not you go ahead
- Nights, weekends and statutory holidays at the same rate
- One passenger riding in the cab on a tow
- Before-and-after photos of your vehicle on every tow
- An itemised receipt by text or email, suitable for an insurance claim
What moves a price
The four things that change the number
- Distance
- Tows include the first 10 km. After that it is per kilometre to the drop-off you choose. The dispatcher works out the total on the call using the address you give.
- What the job actually needs
- An all-wheel drive or an EV needs a flatbed, which costs more to run than a wheel-lift. A car in an underground garage may need a different truck again.
- Difficulty of the recovery
- A car in a snowbank is a standard winch-out. A car on its side at the bottom of an embankment needs two trucks and is quoted on site, in front of you, before anything is rigged.
- Storage, if it applies
- If we hold a vehicle in the yard past 24 hours, daily storage applies at the posted rate. We tell you the rate when you ask us to hold it, not when you come to collect it.
Money questions
The awkward ones, answered first
Is the quote binding?
Yes, for the job described. If you tell us the car is on a driveway and the driver arrives to find it in a ditch, the job has changed and he will requote in front of you before touching it. Nothing is added afterwards.
Why do you not just publish one flat price for towing?
Because the distance is genuinely different every time, and any single published number would be either misleadingly low or unfairly high. We publish the hook-up fee and the per-kilometre rate, and the dispatcher does the arithmetic with you on the call.
Do you take payment before or after the job?
After. Card at the roadside through the terminal in the truck, or cash. You see the itemised total before you pay it.
Will my insurance cover this?
Many policies and credit cards include roadside coverage up to a limit. We are not a contracted provider, so you pay us and claim it back. The receipt we issue carries everything an insurer asks for.
What if I cancel while the truck is on the way?
Call and tell us. If we have not arrived there is no charge. If the driver is already on scene there is a call-out fee, which he will tell you before you decide.
Want your number before you commit?
Tell the dispatcher where you are and where the car is going. You get the total on that call, and you are free to hang up.
- No night or holiday surcharge
- Quote before dispatch
- Card at the roadside
