What we do
Six things that strand people, and what we do about each
Every job is quoted before a truck leaves the yard. The price you are given on the call is the price on the invoice.
Towing and flatbed transport
Flatbed and wheel-lift towing for cars, vans and light trucks, from a highway shoulder or a driveway to the shop of your choice.
from $9525-45 minBattery boost and jump start
A proper boost with a load test after, so you find out whether the battery is dying before it strands you again.
from $7520-35 minFlat tire change
We fit your spare, torque it to spec, and tell you how far you can drive on it before it has to be replaced.
from $7520-40 minCar lockout service
Non-destructive entry with air wedges and long-reach tools. No broken glass, no torn weather seals.
from $7520-35 minEmergency fuel delivery
Enough fuel brought to you to reach the nearest station, in a transport-approved container, day or night.
from $6525-45 minWinch-out and vehicle recovery
Stuck in snow, mud, sand or a ditch. We pull vehicles back onto solid ground without tearing off the bumper.
from $12530-60 min
What happens when you call
Four steps, and you know the price before step three
The part people dread is not the breakdown, it is not knowing what it will cost or how long they will be standing there.
- 01
You call, a person answers
Not a queue and not a call centre in another province. The dispatcher is the one deciding which truck goes where tonight.
- 02
We quote before we dispatch
Service, distance and total, said out loud on the call. If you would rather not go ahead, nothing has cost you anything.
- 03
A truck is assigned with a real window
You get the driver's name and an honest arrival time. During a storm that window is longer, and we will say so rather than guess low.
- 04
The driver calls you when close
So you are not watching every set of headlights. On a highway shoulder, stay in the vehicle until he pulls in behind you.

Slid into the ditch on a concession road at 11pm with no cell bars. They kept the truck rolling to where I said I was instead of giving up when the call dropped. Out in twenty minutes, no damage to the bumper.
Quoted me on the phone before dispatching and the invoice matched to the dollar. Last company I used added a night surcharge I only found out about at the drop-off.
Boosted the car in the GO lot and then load-tested the battery, which is how I found out it was on its way out. He fitted a new one in the parking space. Would have been stranded again by Friday otherwise.
Questions people ask at 2am
Straight answers, before you have to ask
How fast can you get to me?
Our average across all calls is 25 minutes. In Aurora and Newmarket it is usually under 20. In North York or during a snowstorm it can be an hour or more. Dispatch gives you a real window on the call rather than a number designed to stop you phoning someone else.
What does it cost?
You get the full price before a truck is dispatched, and it does not change afterwards. Boosts, lockouts and flat tire changes start at $75. Towing starts at $95 for the hook-up plus distance. Winch-outs start at $125. There is no night, weekend or holiday surcharge.
Do you charge more at night or on holidays?
No. A 3am call on New Year's Day is billed at the same rate as a Tuesday afternoon. Surcharging people at their worst moment is common in this trade and we have chosen not to do it.
Are you actually open 24 hours?
Yes, with a person answering rather than a voicemail box. Trucks run overnight, and overnight is when a large share of our calls come in.
Do you work with insurance or motor club memberships?
We will invoice you directly and give you a detailed receipt that any insurer or motor club will accept for reimbursement. We are not a contracted provider for the clubs, so you pay us and claim it back.
What information do you need when I call?
Where you are, what you are driving, and what the car is doing. A cross street, highway exit or plaza name is enough for location. Year, make and model tells the dispatcher which truck to send.
